Our mission is to build community in Sonoma County by creating shared connection around the places we love.
The places we get attached to are usually small and specific. The general store where you stop for coffee on the way to the coast. The grange hall out on the county road. The feed store, the bridge you've crossed a thousand times. Sonoma County has hundreds of them, and almost none have ever been drawn.
So I'm drawing them. I work one town and one landmark at a time, starting from a photograph I took. Each one comes in two finishes: an ink drawing, and a watercolor, which is the same drawing with transparent washes laid over the same lines. Every drawing carries my printed signature. See how a drawing is made, from the photograph to the print.
Most of these end up as gifts. A friend moving on from Healdsburg. A couple who just closed on a place in Sonoma. Parents handing over the keys to the family home in Petaluma, with all the years that happened there. A drawing of that corner is a way to say: I know the place you mean.
There are hundreds more places to draw, and I'd love your help choosing the next ones. Suggest a place.
Meet Noah

I've always been a bit of a closet photographer. I'm the one out at golden hour chasing the light: waves splashing on the rocks along the coast, fog rolling over the hills of a vineyard, or a storefront I've walked past a hundred times.

I've never shared any of it before. Now I'm sharing it with you.
Every piece in the shop starts as a photograph I took while exploring the county. Those photos become ink drawings and watercolors, and then gifts.
I hope you find something here for someone you love. Something that brings a little local beauty into a home. And for anyone who's moved away but still feels the pull of this place, a way to bring a piece of Sonoma County back with you.
I live in Petaluma with my wife and our two cats. You'll find the cats on the Custom Art page. They're quite the handsome boys.
Thanks for being here.
