Where orders ship
Orders ship to the lower 48 states and Washington, DC. Alaska, Hawaii, US territories, APO and FPO addresses, and international addresses are not available at present.
Shipping cost
Shipping is free on orders of $50 or more after any discount code is applied. Orders under $50 ship for a flat $7.99. There is no express option at present.
Timing
Every item is printed on demand after the order is placed. Prints are produced in 2 to 3 business days, and framed prints take about a day longer. Mugs and other printed goods are produced in 2 to 5 business days. Transit is typically 2 to 5 business days, so plan on 4 to 10 business days from order to door. Orders placed after 11:00 AM Pacific begin production the next business day. Weekends and federal holidays are not counted. For delivery before Christmas, order by Monday, December 7.
Changes and cancellations
Orders can be changed or canceled within one hour of ordering. Email hello@sonomacountygifts.com with the order number. After the first hour the order goes into production and can no longer be changed or canceled.
How it arrives
8x10 prints ship flat in a rigid mailer. 11x14 and 16x20 prints ship rolled in a sturdy tube; rest a rolled print flat under a few books for a day before framing. Framed prints ship boxed with corner protection. Mugs, ornaments and cutting boards ship boxed and padded. Totes ship folded in a soft mailer. Canvases, calendars, journals, puzzles, glasses and caps ship in protective packaging from their print partner.
Each kind of product is made by a specialist print partner at its own facility. Prints, framed prints and canvases come from one partner; mugs, totes, ornaments, cutting boards, calendars, journals, puzzles, glasses and caps come from others. An order with items from more than one partner arrives in separate parcels, on different days, each with its own tracking number.
Damaged or wrong items
If an item arrives damaged or defective, or the wrong item arrives, send a photograph of the item and its packaging, with the order number, through the contact page within 30 days of delivery. A replacement ships at no cost, usually within 2 to 3 business days. There is no need to return the damaged item. A refund can be issued instead of a replacement on request.
Lost packages
If an order has not arrived within 10 business days of its ship date, get in touch through the contact page and it will be traced or replaced.
Returns
Every item is made for its order, so items can't be returned or exchanged for a change of mind. Anything that arrives damaged, defective or wrong is replaced or refunded, as described above, and there's no need to send it back. Full details are in the Refund Policy.
Address errors
Check the shipping address before ordering. Once production starts the address cannot be changed. Packages returned as undeliverable can be reshipped at the buyer's cost.
